Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy music Asia Tour

Super big news! I just got the Square-enix newsletter that Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy is having an Asia Tour, including the destination Singapore!

I’m really close to screaming now. You have no idea how many times me and my sisters keep wishing for the official Final Fantasy orchestras to come over to Singapore to perform.

This link right here is the direct link to the news page in the official Distant worlds website. Of course they aren’t just coming to Singapore, they’re going to Taipei and also Minneapolis. However, I’m obviously only interested in the one here, which will take place on May 2009. Tickets supposedly start selling from March onwards. Then again, you never know, so just keep checking!

I’m definitely definitely going for this concert. And I’m getting a real good seat, just like for the Phantom of Opera one. You people better not buy off all the tickets!

This is the program, direct from the website too (just go visit the website…), but I will  be putting it here for easy reference.

2-hour concert program produced by Nobuo Uematsu and AWR Music Productions, LLC (not in performance order, subject to change):

FINAL FANTASY series: Main Theme, Swing de Chocobo

FINAL FANTASY I-III: Medley

FINAL FANTASY IV: Theme of Love

FINAL FANTASY V: Dear Friends

FINAL FANTASY VI: Opera “Maria and Draco”

FINAL FANTASY VII: One-Winged Angel, Opening – Bombing Mission, Aerith’s Theme

FINAL FANTASY VIII: Liberi Fatali, Fisherman’s Horizon, Love Grows, Don’t be Afraid

FINAL FANTASY IX: Vamo’ alla Flamenco

FINAL FANTASY X: To Zanarkand

FINAL FANTASY XI: Memoro de la Stono – Distant Worlds

Oh man… I love Square-enix sooo much, I love Final Fantasy beyond words, and I’m crazy about Distant worlds…
