There are a lot of cool movies coming out soon (or not so soon, depending on how quickly time passes for you). One of them, as everyone knows, is X-Men Origins Wolverine (not wolberine… that one’s broadcasted already), that is to be released in Singapore on April 29th. Another would be New Moon of the Twilight Saga directed by Chris Weitz. I’m glad Taylor Lautner is coming back as Jacob Black and I’m definitely supporting Michael Sheen as Aro, but otherwise I haven’t been very up-to-date about New Moon-ities.
The movie I shall be talking about is Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince (as if my title wasn’t absolutely obvious from the start).
Right… I won’t be saying too much though. First off, watch the splendid trailers at their official website.

As you can see, the graphics are stunning. There’s been quite a bit of improvement I daresay.
Here are some of the promotional posters from the official website of the movie…

(Oh it’s Alan Rickman! *Squeals!*)
The movie is really taking on a darker theme, just as the books have. Of course that is to be expected but I must say I really like the turn it’s taking. There’s a lot more Draco Malfoy (acted by Tom Felton) in this installment too.

Such solemn expressions… though the last movie (with 2 installments) will be markedly worse.
There will of course still be comedic moments like…

The presence of Ron Weasley. Great expression Rupert Grint! Oliver Wood would be proud!
I really like the Ron Weasley character though. I never fail to laugh at what he does. I don’t even meet such quirky people around me anymore… oh with the exception of my really Riddikulus sister.
I’m particularyly interested in knowing, <and for people who bury their heads in sand and don’t read Harry Potter (with the exception of those who truly do not have access to books – please support charity organisations) there will be a spoiler ahead…> how the scene of Snape killing Dumbledore is portrayed. It’s a very emotional part and basically the climax of this particular part of the series. So I am eagerly waiting…
There are a lot more tantalising details and pictures up and about, but obviously I have not posted all of them up or I will not have space on my blog for other pictures soon. C: Well you can go to the same places the pictures on my blog came from - official website here (again), and also the IMDB page to browse through the galleries.
I hope to catch this movie on the premier day, July 16 for Singapore, which is one day later than the official release day of July 15 in Britain. (Pssst Sook! Don’t forget to order the tix!) I wish there were freebies too of course. No such hope? Hahhahaha!
Well that’s it for now. I’m really hoping that this movie will be a total blast partly because Half-blood Prince is my favourite book of the series followed by Prisoner of Azkaban…
I’ll probably do a movie review after I’ve watched it. Ciaos!
